The effects of fluoxetine in improving the neurocognitive functioning of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder attending the psychiatric clinic of the University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka, Zambia

Introduction: Stimulants are medicines approved to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents considered the first-line pharmacological agents ADHD management. Fluoxetine has been used for its purpose Objective: The main aim of this study was find out effects fluoxetine improving neurocognitive functioning with attending our local psychiatric clinic. Two specific objectives guided study: identify executive memory ADHD.
